Tell Driftless what must become true.
Give it the systems. Give it the boundaries. Give it the authority. Give it the evidence standard. Give it the economic limits.
Driftless goes to work.
Driftless is a sovereign business operating system built to understand what you are trying to accomplish, determine what is true now, identify what is preventing progress, decide what should happen next, perform the work you authorize, verify what actually happened, learn from the result, and continue until the objective is accomplished or reality requires a different decision.
You govern the business. Driftless operates within the authority you grant.
It is built for the person opening a first company, the owner trying to make payroll, the team scaling beyond spreadsheets, the creator building a digital business, the developer shipping software, the 5,000-seat contact center, the hospital network, the financial institution, the university system, the government program, and the enterprise that needs intelligence powerful enough to work and governed enough to trust.
No questionnaire. Pick the operating reality that is closest to yours.
ONE OPERATING SYSTEM. DIFFERENT SCOPE.
Driftless is Density6's founding Vertical Intelligence Product for governed business operating reality.
You tell it what must become true. You connect the people, systems, data, applications, workflows, customers, infrastructure, and other assets involved. You establish the boundaries. You decide what Driftless may do on its own, what requires approval, what it may never do, and what evidence will count as success.
Then Driftless goes to work. It determines what is true now, maps the path between the current state and the objective, finds where progress is constrained, chooses the highest-value action it is authorized and economically permitted to take, performs the work, verifies what actually happened, learns from the result, and continues.
At enterprise scale, the same architecture can coordinate people, organizations, customers, accounts, contracts, cases, assets, locations, workflows, approvals, policies, knowledge, AI, infrastructure, communications, evidence, decisions, obligations, missions, objectives, and economic state. These become connected operating objects rather than information scattered across unrelated systems and chat histories.
The operating loop is:
DECLARE → PERCEIVE → FLOW → DECIDE → ACT → VERIFY → LEARN
Density6 uses the term Vertical Intelligence™ deliberately. It does not mean "a language model with industry data." It describes an executable operating model for a bounded reality.
For a vertical or mission, Vertical Intelligence can bind:
operational ontology — what exists in this reality;
knowledge and state — what is true now, what was true before, what is known, and what remains uncertain;
authority — who or what may decide and act;
policy and constraints — what is admissible, prohibited, required, or conditional;
capabilities — what the system can actually do;
workflows and missions — how objectives move through the operating environment;
evidence and provenance — what supports a claim, action, state change, delivery, or outcome;
economics — production cost, economic authority, customer entitlement, commercial price, settlement, and customer value;
deployment — shared cloud, dedicated, customer-controlled, local, edge, disconnected, air-gapped, or other approved topology;
learning — how later reality can improve future behavior;
verification — what proves the required state became true.
That is why Driftless can serve a one-person company and a consequential institution without pretending those customers are merely buying different numbers of seats. The common substrate is governed intelligence. The operating responsibility changes with the customer.
Density6 manufactures, owns, operates, deploys, and compounds Vertical Intelligence. Driftless is the first product built on that category.
A model knowing how to perform an action does not give it permission to perform the action. Driftless can bind execution to identity, delegation, purpose, policy, tenant, data boundary, budget, environment, approval state, tool authority, and other conditions that apply at the moment of execution.
Human beings remain in command of the authority they choose to retain.
For consequential actions, Driftless can preserve who requested the work, who authorized it, what authority existed, what information was available, which policy governed the action, what actually executed, what production resources were consumed, what happened afterward, and what evidence supports the claimed result.
The AI also does not get to grade itself. Creating something, sending something, changing a system, reaching an outside provider, and producing a measurable business outcome are different kinds of results. Driftless can define the result before execution and require evidence appropriate to that result rather than allowing an agent to finish a task by saying, "done."
Capability answers: Can the system do this?
Authority answers: May this actor do this here, now, for this purpose?
Economic authority answers: May Density6 consume the scarce resources and accept the economic exposure required to pursue it?
Those are separate questions because consequential intelligence needs more than one kind of permission.
Models can change. Providers can change. Applications can change. Infrastructure can change. The customer's authority, workflows, operational history, evidence, institutional knowledge, objectives, and business state are designed to survive those changes.
That same philosophy extends to deployment and ownership. Driftless is designed across hosted, customer-controlled, edge, disconnected, air-gapped, and other governed environments where the actual authorization permits them. Customers can retain control over data use and learning permissions, and the architecture includes sovereign export and reconstitution rather than treating vendor captivity as a retention strategy.
A workload may use a frontier model, a customer-provided key, Density6-owned model infrastructure, a local model, a specialized model, or a deterministic path where generative AI is unnecessary or inappropriate. The provider is a production dependency. It is not the owner of the business operating state.
The shortest serious answer to "what does Driftless do?" is this: Driftless takes responsibility for the operating distance between what your organization wants to accomplish and what is actually true now. It connects the systems involved, works inside the authority you grant, performs the work it is allowed to perform, proves what happened, learns from reality, and keeps moving the objective forward.
For one person, that might mean getting the first customer. For another, recovering $25,000 in abandoned revenue. For an enterprise, it can mean coordinating a workflow across thousands of people, systems, policies, approvals, and transactions. For a government or mission organization, it can mean operating a bounded process where authority, evidence, continuity, deployment, and accountability matter as much as intelligence.
Same operating system. Different scope.
Most software begins by asking what feature you want to use. Driftless begins somewhere else: what must your business accomplish? That objective becomes operational state.
Examples include:
generate 30 qualified consultations this month;
recover $25,000 in abandoned revenue;
respond to every qualified lead in under two minutes;
reactivate 300 dormant prospects;
increase renewal from 71% to 80%;
build and launch a new business;
turn an existing application into a revenue-producing company;
create a website that captures, follows up with, books, sells to, and retains customers;
reduce a twelve-day process to three days;
remove a growing customer-service backlog;
repair a broken sales handoff;
deploy a customer workflow across several departments;
operate a regulated contact-center campaign;
lower the cost of accomplishing a business process;
coordinate a mission workflow across people, systems, policy, evidence, approvals, economics, and infrastructure;
build software and connect it directly to the company it exists to serve.
The objective is not a motivational statement. Driftless needs enough structure to tell whether the objective moved, stalled, failed, changed, or became true.
It maps the path from present reality to the result. It watches whether value is moving. It finds where that movement stops. It determines what is controlling the outcome. Then it selects the highest-value action it is actually authorized and economically justified to take.
Then it acts.
Reality updates the machine. The machine continues.
DECLARE → PERCEIVE → FLOW → DECIDE → ACT → VERIFY → LEARN
The loop matters because a plan that never reads reality again becomes stale. A workflow that cannot distinguish productive work from waiting becomes a queue generator. An autonomous agent that can only retry becomes a cost center. Driftless is designed to keep the objective, current state, constraints, authority, economics, evidence, and next action connected.
A customer should not enter Driftless and discover a warehouse full of powerful tools waiting to be configured.
The experience is designed to become much simpler than the machinery underneath it.
You tell Driftless what you need your business to accomplish. The operating system should be able to answer: I understand the objective. I understand what is true now. I know what assets already exist. I know what systems are connected. I know where the objective currently sits. I can see whether value is moving. I can see where it stopped. I know which constraint appears to be governing the result. I know what I am allowed to do. I know what economic authority exists. I know what evidence should prove success. I know what action should happen next.
Then Driftless works.
The sophistication belongs inside the machine.
Driftless does not require you to arrive with finished software. You can begin with an idea. A prompt. A repository. A ZIP file. An existing website. An app you already built. A project created somewhere else. Or nothing but the business you want to create.
Driftless Vibe Build takes the path farther than app generation:
idea → code → working application → verified application → business graph → CRM → funnels → workflows → commerce → booking → content → distribution → analytics → attribution → revenue → measured improvement
The coding environment, business operating system, verification machinery, deployment system, intelligence layer, and business capabilities belong to one governed operating environment.
Build anywhere. Driftless turns what you built into a working business.
Ask an ordinary AI builder to build a website for a mobile detailing company and it can build a website. Driftless can understand that the website sits inside a larger commercial system.
A detailing business may also need lead capture, service selection, customer records, service areas, quotes, booking, confirmation, payment, follow-up, upsells, review requests, referrals, analytics, social publishing, attribution, and customer reactivation.
The system can identify those connections while it builds without activating consequential capabilities behind your back. It can say: the site is built. The quote form can create a CRM lead. The Book Now button can connect to Booking. Completed jobs can trigger a review request. The connections are prepared. Enable them?
The point is not to hide complexity. The point is to put complexity behind governed decisions instead of making the customer assemble the business by hand.
That is bigger than vibe coding. It is business building with an operating model attached.
Import an application into Driftless and it can gain access, through governed capabilities, to the rest of the business operating system.
The application does not need direct access to the internal Driftless database to receive those capabilities. It can receive governed business functions. The application becomes part of the company without becoming the company.
That can include customer records, lead capture, CRM, email follow-up, SMS, checkout, subscriptions, booking, funnels, workflows, analytics, attribution, audience segmentation, social distribution, AI, automations, domains, deployment, experimentation, and revenue reporting.
The business graph around the application matters because software can work perfectly while the company surrounding it does not exist yet.
That gap creates a separate product opportunity inside Driftless: Business Completion. The system can identify missing operating capabilities, define the completion scope, establish the contract, prepare and execute the approved work, verify the resulting business state, and then operate what was built.
You do not need to abandon the tools you already like. Bring the work with you. Driftless can accept projects from GitHub repositories, ZIP archives, local workspaces, existing websites, projects created in other builders, or a blank project created directly inside Driftless.
Imported projects enter through a controlled intake and reconstruction path before they are allowed to execute. The system can inspect source, understand dependencies, detect the framework, identify secrets and risks, reconstruct the project, build it inside the governed runtime, verify it, and determine which business capabilities could make the project commercially useful.
You do not have to choose between your favorite builder and the operating system for the business.
Build where you want. Bring the result here.
A customer should not become the compiler, QA department, security scanner, and debugging staff for an AI coding system. Driftless can build. Then it verifies.
Its coding environment includes repository intelligence, transactional editing, checkpoints, provenance, sandbox execution, build systems, terminal access, live preview, deterministic verification, browser verification, self-repair, visual source editing, human collaboration, agent collaboration, import reconstruction, deployment, cost intelligence, and rollback.
Whole-file regeneration is replaced by controlled source transactions where possible. Changes can be checkpointed. Source history can be preserved. Failures can be recovered. The AI can inspect the application in the browser instead of declaring victory because a file compiled.
Verification is part of the build, not something handed to the customer afterward.
Not everybody wants to edit code. That should not mean surrendering the underlying application to an opaque drag-and-drop system.
Driftless supports visual source editing where a visual action resolves back to deterministic source changes and checkpoints. Move the component. Change the spacing. Edit the text. Rearrange the page. Modify the interaction. The visual layer changes the real project.
There is still code. There is still history. There is still rollback. There is still provenance. There is still verification.
The simple experience does not require a fake architecture underneath it.
Driftless does not need one AI for marketing, another for coding, another for operations, another for analytics, and another for automation that all know different versions of the company.
Coding becomes another governed capability of the same intelligence spine. The intelligence that helps build the application can understand the business objective, the customer model, the workflow state, the commercial model, the evidence requirements, and the deployment boundary surrounding what it builds.
That does not mean one model owns every decision. Different models and deterministic systems can serve different jobs. The unity is in the governed operating state, authority, evidence, and objective.
A Vertical Intelligence system can package reusable operating capability without pretending every customer is identical.
A Mission Kit can carry the bounded pieces required for a particular operating responsibility: ontology, connectors, data contracts, actions, policies, workflows, dashboards, measures, evidence requirements, training, deployment profile, verification logic, and export behavior.
That matters economically because work that would traditionally restart as a custom consulting engagement can become a governed reusable product unit. Density6 can build intelligence once, install it repeatedly, then adapt it to the customer's actual state and policy without losing the common operating model.
The package does not receive ambient authority merely because it was installed. Capability remains separate from permission.
Driftless preserves a result taxonomy because not every promise carries the same responsibility.
R0 — Advisory Artifact. Analysis, recommendation, research, plan. The system is responsible for the declared artifact, not for forcing the outside world to obey it.
R1 — Generative Deliverable. Draft, page, campaign, document, design, image, or structured artifact. The result is not merely that a model emitted text. The required usable deliverable must exist in the promised form.
R2 — Executed Action. Send, publish, schedule, create, activate, execute. The result requires evidence from the system that performed the action.
R3 — State Transformation. The target system reaches the required verified state. The state must change and the system must be able to read it back.
R4 — External Delivery. An external system or destination reaches the contracted delivery state. The result requires external evidence where that evidence is available.
R5 — Measured Business Outcome. A later real-world outcome matures and is defensibly attributable: a qualified lead, booked appointment, recovered revenue, reduced churn, cost saved, or another defined economic result.
These classes govern responsibility, verification, evidence, maturity, failure, and settlement. They do not automatically define price. A strategically important R0 can be worth more than a trivial R3. Result class is not value class.
Driftless no longer uses a universal customer credit or token as the governing commercial abstraction.
The customer contract defines the commercial unit.
A customer may buy a subscription, included capacity, a fixed completed result, native usage, a mission, an intervention, a managed operating lane, a deployment, an operating responsibility, assurance, an outcome contract, professional engineering, or another approved commercial object.
Before consequential work begins, the commercial state can define the product or responsibility purchased, scope, price or governed scenario, billing type, evidence requirement, verification condition, settlement event, authority, economic authority, external dependencies, divisibility, and failure semantics.
The machine does not get to change the definition of success after seeing the output.
Money cannot reinterpret "done." The contract was defined first.
Density6 separates commercial reality from production reality through five planes.
What did the customer actually purchase?
What scarce resources and economic exposure may Density6 risk fulfilling that contract?
What actually happened? Which models, tools, workers, communications, infrastructure, people, retries, repairs, and other resources were consumed?
What state became true and what evidence supports that conclusion?
What became included, earned, partially earned, not earned, refunded, released, credited, passed through, disputed, or matured into an outcome fee?
Above all five sits Reality-Reconciled Learning. RRL learns from what reality later proves so future behavior can improve. It does not get to rewrite settled historical economics.
Production cost, customer entitlement, commercial price, settlement, and customer value may correlate. They are not interchangeable.
Suppose Attempt 1 fails. Attempt 2 fails. Repair occurs. Attempt 3 succeeds.
All three attempts remain part of Density6's production truth. They affect cost, routing, reliability, repair analysis, reserves, and RRL. Hiding failed attempts would make the company worse at understanding its own economics.
The customer may nevertheless owe one contracted result, one mission fee, one subscription, one native-usage amount, or another contractual amount.
A retry caused by an internal failure does not automatically become another customer purchase.
That changes the incentive in a useful direction. Density6 becomes more profitable when it lowers the cost of producing the same or better verified result without degrading evidence, authority, security, or quality. Better routing matters. Better deterministic systems matter. Fewer retries matter. Better repair matters. Better verification matters.
Internal waste belongs to the production system until the contract says otherwise.
The earlier token-based meaning of FTU is retired. FTU now means Fair Throughput & Utilization™.
FTU asks:
May this execution happen?
How much scarce resource may it consume?
Which production path should be used?
What economic risk may Density6 accept?
How much retry or repair effort is admissible?
What happens if economic truth is unknown?
When should execution route down, queue, defer, ask, pause, or stop?
FTU does not answer what the customer bought. The commercial contract answers that.
There is no universal Density6 coin, token, SIGNAL balance, work credit, governed-motion credit, or hidden exchange rate between compute and customer value. The appropriate unit follows the thing being purchased.
Compute is a production input. The customer contract defines the commercial unit. Verified reality determines settlement.
The Free Gate is constitutional inside Density6's commercial doctrine.
A digital Density6 product should allow a customer to enter the system, understand it, connect reality, declare an objective, diagnose current state, experience the capability vocabulary, begin legitimate governed work, and discover value without paying an admission fee.
Free does not mean unlimited third-party compute, communication expense, media generation, storage, autonomous execution, concurrency, assurance, human support, external effects, economic exposure, or another scarce resource.
The rule is simple:
PERMISSION ≠ CAPACITY.
We do not need to manufacture artificial incapability to create a business model. We do need to govern scarcity honestly.
Where a supported customer brings its own model-provider key, Density6's canonical provider markup is 0%. The customer pays the provider under the provider relationship. Driftless still governs how that credential is used; BYOK does not create ambient authority.
A slow model should not earn more money because it was slow. A broken agent should not earn more because it took longer to recover. A conversation should not become expensive merely because the answer required thought.
Time may be a legitimate unit for scarce human professional services where the contract says so. It is not a desirable universal billing unit for autonomous intelligence.
Driftless can price availability, capacity, execution, a fixed result, native usage, mission scope, operating responsibility, autonomous capacity, a Vertical Intelligence license, assurance, compliance, sovereignty, federation, adaptation, RRL, support, professional engineering, or verified outcome participation.
The commercial unit follows the value object.
You do not need to understand the entire Density6 commercial constitution to start using Driftless.
The public operating levels are:
Free Gate — $0 forever;
Operator — $99/month or $990/year;
Business — $399/month or $3,990/year;
Portfolio / Agency — $1,499/month or $14,990/year.
There is also a Verified Revenue Recovery Launch — $497 one time for a bounded revenue-recovery intervention.
Those prices are the self-service front door, not the ceiling of Driftless' commercial system. As Density6 accepts more responsibility, the commercial object changes rather than forcing every relationship into a larger seat bundle.
See the complete pricing system
A business can ask Driftless to complete missing operating infrastructure through Business Completion. It can place a bounded recurring function under a Managed Operating Lane. It can focus a governed engagement on the condition blocking an objective through a Constraint Breakthrough Deployment. It can contract for Sovereignty Installation when deployment and control boundaries require more than shared cloud operation.
A consequential enterprise can begin with a Paid Bounded Production Proof rather than granting broad authority on day one. The official minimum is $50,000, with governed standard scenarios through $1.5 million and a custom path above that where justified.
A sustained Enterprise Production Relationship begins at $100,000 per year and has governed standard scenarios through $20 million per year. A Global Operating Mission Assessment uses governed standard positions from $250,000 through $1 million. A Strategic Lighthouse Deployment uses governed positions from $1 million through $5 million. A Strategic Production Relationship begins at $5 million per year, with governed standard positions through $50 million per year and custom relationships above that only where independently defensible.
Those amounts are not customer-size taxes. The commercial case has to be supported by scope, throughput, authority, autonomy, assurance, risk, deployment complexity, responsibility, scarcity, capital burden, support burden, verification burden, economic exposure, and defensible value.
The same platform can therefore serve a solo operator at $99 a month and an institution at tens of millions per year without pretending they are buying different quantities of the same seat.
Some engagements can support compensation tied to independently defensible economic value.
Density6's standard outcome-participation constants are 5%, 7.5%, 10%, and 15%, with 7.5% as the default modeling target and 15% as the ordinary approval ceiling. Above 15% requires explicit executive approval and an exceptional case.
The percentage is not itself a Stripe Price.
The contract establishes the outcome, attribution rules, measurement basis, and rate before the outcome. Later evidence establishes the verified attributable economic improvement. Driftless computes the matured dollar settlement. Only then is the exact payable dollar amount sent to the settlement rail.
If the attribution cannot be defended, the outcome fee should not be manufactured from confidence.
Once a business is operating, Driftless continuously maintains the picture surrounding the objective: current state, expected path, current position, next transition, prerequisites, work in progress, waiting, blockers, queue age, abnormal delays, retries, rework, missing information, missing authority, policy boundaries, capacity, costs, scarce resources, possible actions, expected effects, execution, evidence, economic consequence, verified outcome, and learning.
The goal is not maximum machine activity.
The goal is verified customer accomplishment.
A company can appear busy while nothing valuable progresses. The lead exists, but nobody follows up. The lead was qualified, but scheduling became the bottleneck. The customer bought, but activation stalled. The campaign worked, but fulfillment broke. The task was completed, but an approval sat untouched for nine days. The queue processor is green, but the queue gets older every hour. The AI retries all night while the underlying problem remains.
Driftless can measure the difference between productive work and waiting: work time, queue time, approval time, blocked time, dependency time, retry time, rework, recovery, and verification.
If something requires ten minutes of productive effort and seventeen days of waiting, it is a seventeen-day system.
Driftless is designed to find the seventeen days.
Once the break becomes visible, the machine investigates what is actually governing the objective. Sales today. Activation tomorrow. Cash next week. Capacity next month. A broken handoff after that. Authority. Information. Trust. Staffing. Conversion. Retention. Proof. Deployment. Customer demand. Legal restriction. Quality. A vendor. A market event.
The correct target can move because reality moved.
Driftless is designed to move with it. It does not remain loyal to yesterday's solution after yesterday's problem disappears.
The scarce resource should follow the governing constraint, not the loudest department or the easiest metric.
AI makes production cheap. That creates a new danger: overproduction.
More leads into a broken sales system makes the sales problem worse. More campaigns into overloaded fulfillment make fulfillment worse. More agents can create more coordination cost. More content can create more review work. More reports can create more decisions without creating more progress. More infrastructure can consume capital the business needed somewhere else.
Driftless asks what the objective requires next rather than what the machine is capable of generating next.
That is one reason FTU exists. Scarce production resources should serve the objective, not reward activity for being activity.
Sooner or later, somebody asks why the system did that. Driftless is designed so the answer does not have to be "because the AI said so."
A consequential action can carry evidence about who requested it, who performed it, which objective it served, which authority permitted it, what information was available, which policy applied, which economic authority existed, which tools participated, what action occurred, which version executed, what it cost to produce, what evidence proved execution, what happened afterward, whether the expected state changed, what commercial settlement state followed, what effect reached the business objective, and what the system learned.
The operational event and its accountability can live together.
Information discovered tomorrow should not be silently inserted into yesterday's decision. Driftless preserves the difference between what was true and what the system knew when it acted.
A correction can update the current operating state without pretending the correction was known earlier. That makes it possible to reconstruct the actual world surrounding an important decision: which evidence existed, which policy version governed, which software version was running, which model participated, which authority existed, what was predicted, what commercial state applied, and what happened later.
That distinction is useful in every serious business. It becomes critical in finance, healthcare, government, regulated communications, audit, public safety, commercial disputes, and mission environments.
Driftless includes Reality-Reconciled Learning.
Its governing thesis is simple: most machine learning learns from data about reality. Reality-Reconciled Learning learns from reality correcting the machine.
RRL preserves the machine's decision context, predicted future, permitted actions, actual action, later observations, and resulting consequences, then asks what the difference actually means. A bad result could have come from bad perception, missing knowledge, a wrong prediction, poor calibration, a bad decision, a correct decision with poor execution, tool failure, verification failure, environmental change, third-party failure, measurement error, or some combination.
Learning is federated. A simulator does not get to declare simulated evidence real. A verifier does not certify itself. A trainer does not promote itself. A reconstruction system does not rewrite historical facts. Human oversight remains part of the architecture, and no one subsystem silently owns everybody else's truth.
Candidate intelligence can be evaluated, replayed against historical cases, tested under controlled conditions, shadowed, compared to baselines, measured economically, and inspected for regressions before it receives more production authority. An improvement can be promoted. It can also be rolled back.
RRL can therefore become more than a model-quality loop. It can become a production-efficiency loop. If Driftless learns to produce the same verified result with fewer retries, lower provider spend, stronger verification, lower failure cost, and better reliability, the operating system becomes economically better without changing what the customer was promised.
Learning does not get a free pass around governance.
Browsers close. Networks fail. Providers time out. Machines restart. Agents crash. Power disappears. A serious operating system cannot treat those events as permission to forget what it was doing.
Driftless maintains durable state around important work. Sessions can resume. Checkpoints can recover. Work can branch. Failed paths can be abandoned without erasing their history. Deployment state can reconcile. The system can distinguish completed work from pending work rather than beginning again blindly.
Commercial state matters here too. A retry after recovery should not manufacture a second customer purchase merely because the underlying worker restarted. Pending approvals, result contracts, settlement state, and evidence maturity need continuity along with the task itself.
Automation can hide failure behind activity. Retry. Retry. Retry. The workers remain busy. The logs remain busy. The dashboard remains busy. The objective remains stuck.
Driftless treats repeated failure as operational information. A serious abnormality can expose the affected objective, current state, expected transition, expected time, actual age, failed transition, probable blocker, authority available, economic exposure, customer impact, required response, and verification condition.
Some failures should cause downstream activity to stop rather than allowing the machine to create more damage.
A retry is not a repair.
HERBIE is the operational management intelligence inside Driftless. It can watch what should be moving, what is moving, what stopped, what slowed down, what is accumulating, what keeps repeating, what is reversing, what is waiting, what looks healthy technically but unhealthy economically, which constraint may be governing the result, which scarce resource controls that constraint, which permissible action deserves attention, what customer value is exposed, and what evidence should tell us whether the response worked.
A service can have beautiful uptime while every customer objective is stuck.
HERBIE watches the difference.
Autonomy does not require removing human judgment. Some work belongs to a person. Some authority belongs to a person. Some decisions deserve review. Some exceptions deserve escalation. Some operations need people in the field.
Some enterprise deployments need integration, process redesign, training, doctrine, implementation, and mission engineering rather than another login screen. Driftless supports forward-deployed mission engineering for those environments. The software and the operating team can be designed together.
Human time can also be an honest commercial unit when scarce expert labor is what the customer is actually buying. Density6's refusal to use time as a universal AI billing abstraction does not mean professional engineering has no cost.
The operational loop runs:
Objective → Authority → Data → Decision → Action → Evidence → Outcome → Learning
Around it sits:
Identity → Security → Policy → Compliance → Audit → Accreditation
The commercial system adds another connected chain:
Contract → Economic Authority → Execution → Verification → Settlement
That is a different architecture from performing the work in one system, tracking cost in another, assembling proof months later from screenshots, and asking finance to infer why a charge exists.
Operations produce evidence. Evidence supports assurance. Assurance surrounds operations. Commercial settlement follows verified contract state.
A multimillion-dollar technology purchase can die long before the buyer gets to the product demonstration. Security review. Architecture review. Identity review. Accessibility review. Legal review. Privacy review. Continuity review. AI-governance review. Vendor-risk review. Finance review. Procurement.
Procurement readiness is designed into the enterprise architecture rather than assembled in an emergency after the sales call.
Driftless is designed for the people who can say no.
That includes the right questions about current assurance status. Architecture suitable for a compliance path is not the same thing as an external attestation, certification, accreditation, or authorization. The Trust Center and customer-specific evidence package should say what is true now.
A certificate is useful. A continuously operating control system is better.
Driftless connects controls to frameworks, systems, tests, owners, evidence, exceptions, findings, remediation, and production state. One real control can support several assurance frameworks without inventing a separate fictional compliance environment for every acronym.
The control exists once. Evidence comes from that control. Mappings can change without rewriting operational reality.
The same discipline applies to commercial governance. A settlement rule should be traceable to the contract and evidence rather than copied into a dozen user interfaces where it can drift.
Calling a person is an action. Recording them is an action. Using an artificial voice is an action. Collecting payment data is an action. Continuing after consent changes is an action.
Driftless treats those facts as part of the operating state.
The same machine can help one business owner follow up with yesterday's leads and govern customer communications inside a major BPO. The objective does not change. The control surface does.
Every consequential outbound action should know why it is permitted before it occurs.
At higher scale, economic authority matters too. A technically valid campaign can still create uncontrolled provider spend or communication cost if resource governance is absent. Permission to send and permission to spend are different controls.
Operational access and learning authority are separate. A system being allowed to use information for a customer-authorized operation does not automatically mean it may reuse that information for another purpose.
Classification matters. Tenant boundaries matter. Purpose matters. Retention matters. Residency matters. Authority matters. Provenance matters. Learning policy matters.
This becomes especially important around proprietary information, financial records, patient workflows, education data, government systems, and regulated communications.
Adaptive Vertical Intelligence should get better from verified reality without converting every customer record into an unrestricted training asset.
A serious operating system cannot assume every customer will run inside the same public SaaS topology.
Driftless is designed for deployment patterns spanning cloud, edge, customer-controlled nodes, disconnected environments, air-gapped environments, and other high-assurance environments where authorization permits them. The same operating plane can govern desired state, releases, identity, evidence, policies, synchronization, recovery, economic authority, and local operating authority across heterogeneous deployment environments.
Deployment capability is not authorization. A system that can run in an isolated environment is not automatically approved for classified processing or any other restricted mission. The actual customer, contract, data, controls, assessment, accreditation, and authorizing process determine what may happen there.
We intend to become valuable enough that replacing Driftless is painful because the system is useful. We do not intend to manufacture pain by imprisoning your data.
Sovereign Exit can export the governed operational state of the customer: business objects, history, workflows, evidence, receipts, configuration, audit records, and other supported operating state. The architecture includes reconstitution testing so an export does not mean a useless pile of vendor-specific files.
The provider can change. The model can change. The hosting environment can change. The employee can leave. The agent can restart. The application can be replaced.
The governed business state remains.
Sovereignty includes the right to leave.
Customers deserve to know whether Driftless is trustworthy. They do not need our internal security brain, adversarial methods, risk models, internal evaluation logic, isolation machinery, or proprietary orchestration published on an open website.
They need evidence. Reports. Receipts. Independent testing. Certificates where actually held. Architecture boundaries. Audit controls. Data flows. Operational commitments. Portability. Governance.
Selective disclosure allows the system to prove what the buyer needs without publishing a manual for attacking the control.
Traditional software categories divide the problem. A vibe builder builds the application. A CRM holds the leads. A funnel tool moves prospects. An automation platform connects actions. A marketing platform distributes messages. An analytics platform reports performance. An AI assistant answers questions. A coding assistant edits source. A cloud hosts the application. A contact-center platform handles calls. A security vendor collects evidence. A consultant decides what the numbers mean. Management tries to coordinate the whole thing.
Driftless is building toward one sovereign operating environment where those capabilities can participate in the same objective under one governed model of state, authority, economics, evidence, deployment, learning, and verification.
That is why Density6 calls the category Vertical Intelligence.
Start with one painful thing. Old leads. Slow follow-up. Missing appointments. Weak retention. A website that does nothing. A pile of customer records nobody works.
Tell Driftless the result. Connect what exists. Build what is missing. Grant the authority you are comfortable granting. Start.
Small companies do not need smaller intelligence. They need a smaller starting scope.
Bring the repository. Bring the app. Bring the website. Build directly inside Driftless through conversation, visual editing, code, terminal, runtime inspection, deployment, and domains. Then connect business capabilities and turn software into a customer-acquiring, payment-taking, workflow-running, measurable business system.
Your application does not have to end where the code ends.
Connect leads, audiences, campaigns, sequences, content, follow-up, offers, analytics, attribution, booking, sales, and customer state to the outcome they exist to produce.
Stop grading marketing solely on output. Ask whether the objective moved.
Begin with one department. One queue. One business unit. One customer workflow. One mission. One call-center campaign. One measurable constraint.
Establish authority. Connect identity. Connect the required systems. Define the evidence. Define the economic boundary. Operate. Then widen scope when the proof deserves it.
Govern patient-contact and operational workflows with enterprise identity, evidence, data boundaries, human escalation, continuity, security, auditability, and applicable HIPAA/BAA controls where the actual relationship requires them. AI belongs inside the same operating and assurance architecture as the workflow it touches.
Operate customer and internal workflows with bounded authority, evidence, identity, data governance, GLBA-oriented security controls, payment protections where applicable, communication governance, audit trails, AI governance, and enterprise integration.
Revenue goals do not override the rules governing how the goal may be pursued.
Coordinate institutional workflows, communications, approvals, accessibility, FERPA-relevant controls, student and stakeholder operations, identity, evidence, contact-center activity, and process improvement from one governed operating layer.
Begin with a bounded mission workflow. Represent the actual operational objects. Define authority, economic authority, evidence, and policy. Control deployment. Preserve history. Support accessibility. Prove the controls. Operate across the approved infrastructure boundary.
GovRAMP, CJIS, CMMC, NIST, FedRAMP, and other frameworks or authorization paths apply only where the actual system, data, customer, and contract make them applicable.
Some operations require stronger identity, deployment, audit, control, continuity, policy, evidence, and human authority than ordinary SaaS. Driftless is designed so those conversations do not require replacing the entire operating architecture.
Higher assurance becomes a stricter governed projection of the same operating principles, subject to the actual approvals and authorizations required for the mission.
Large deployments add enterprise identity, workforce governance, legal communication policies, consent, recording governance, AI voice controls, payment controls, SIEM, service levels, audit evidence, approval chains, business continuity, incident response, economic authority, and procurement controls.
Executives inspect performance. Security inspects controls. Legal inspects authority and evidence. Finance inspects economics. Operations inspects flow.
One person can start here:
Help me reactivate the customers I already paid to acquire.
A developer can start here:
Take this existing application, verify it, connect it to CRM, booking, checkout, analytics, and workflows, then launch it.
A contact center can start here:
Operate this campaign within these consent, jurisdiction, recording, AI-voice, payment, service-level, security, economic, and evidence requirements.
An enterprise can start here:
Reduce the time from qualified opportunity to completed onboarding across this business unit while preserving approvals, evidence, policy, economics, and accountability.
A government program can start here:
Move this mission process from intake to verified closure across these systems, authorities, controls, and deployment boundaries.
The first objective does not need to be small in importance. It needs to be bounded enough to govern.
The public Driftless front door is intentionally clear.
Free Gate — $0 forever. No card required merely to start the free commercial relationship.
Operator — $99/month or $990/year. For the owner or operator who needs materially more recurring operating capacity.
Business — $399/month or $3,990/year. For a company requiring a larger operating envelope across real business work.
Portfolio / Agency — $1,499/month or $14,990/year. For materially broader multi-workspace, multi-brand, portfolio, or client operating responsibility.
A bounded Verified Revenue Recovery Launch is $497 one time.
That is the simple front door. Behind it is a deeper commercial system for Business Completion, Managed Operating Lanes, Constraint Breakthrough Deployments, Sovereignty Installations, Paid Bounded Production Proofs, Enterprise Production Relationships, Global Operating Mission Assessments, Strategic Lighthouse Deployments, Strategic Production Relationships, and Verified Outcome Participation.
Every governed commercial position can have a deterministic entry path without pretending every path should immediately charge a card.
Explore the full Density6 commercial system
Density6 does not need a synthetic token economy to make Driftless economically disciplined.
The Free Gate remains free. Capability is not sold through artificial incapability. Scarce capacity can be priced. Execution can be priced. Operating responsibility can be priced. Verified results can be priced. Verified outcomes can be priced when attribution can be defended. Sovereignty, assurance, compliance, federation, support, deployment, adaptation, and professional engineering can be priced when they are real parts of the responsibility being purchased.
Internal failed attempts remain visible to Density6. They do not automatically become additional customer purchases.
Supported BYOK provider markup is 0%.
The default external-seller transaction tax is 0%.
There is no universal seat tax.
Stripe can execute money movement. Stripe does not define Density6's commercial truth.
The contract defines what the customer purchased. Authority defines what Driftless may do. FTU governs what scarce production resources Density6 may consume. Execution records what happened. Evidence establishes what became true. Verification determines whether the commercial state matured. Commercial settlement determines what became legitimately payable. RRL learns how to produce the same or greater verified value with less waste, lower failure cost, stronger evidence, and better economics.
That is the relationship we are building.
Driftless establishes what is true now. It builds what is missing. It connects what already exists. It maps the flow. It watches movement. It finds the constraint. It respects your authority. It respects economic reality. It performs the authorized work. It verifies the result. It settles economics against the contract and verified state. It preserves the evidence. It learns from what reality says happened.
Then it looks at the objective again and continues.
You govern the business. Driftless operates it with you.
If Driftless accepts responsibility for a result, mission, operating lane, or outcome, the responsibility has to be defined before the work and the settlement has to be defensible afterward.
